Thaddeus Fogg- Phantom Spy

By Ray Drayton

"I have just finished this book and it was a story that I couldn't put down. Thaddeus Fogg - Phantom Spy is a great read, historical fiction but I would think a lot of truth also. Well written Ray Drayton , I would recommend this book to everyone."

Synopsis:

“There will be an hour, believe it, there will be. When liberated Russia will ask each of us, ‘what have you done to accelerate my rebirth?” The professor of Slavonic Studies stares impassively at the faces showing fear and hesitation.

The walls of a study within Cambridge University join in the silence demanding the students’ attention. He turns to gain the attention of one Pavel Minsky as he continues the quotation. “Here is imperial Russia – here, we breathe its air.”

The collective fear in the students eyes indicate they have succumbed to a turbulent time of Russian history when dissidents were put to the Cossacks’ sword.

Everyone except Pavel Minsky. He catches the professor’s attention, raising both hands with palms facing outwards. His cold unyielding smile portrays what professor Gorsky already knows. The student standing before him is destined to become the most lethal spy ever encountered in The Cold War.

Pavel Minsky is silently conveying to his tutor, there is no blood on HIS hands.
